Artist's Description
Varying line weights and fields of color coalesce into a delicate windswept landscape or seascape with grasses or sea oats in the foreground. An abstract study in the Summer of '17 series, based on a common color palette. Another design that works well on textiles—towels, pillows, shower curtains, duvet covers, etc.
About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild from 2021 through 2022. She is past president of the Chatham Arts Council and currently serves as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
