FIRST BLUSH. 2020. Summer comes to the southern garden, and with the heat, the intensity of luscious, velvety flowers and leaves. Cannas and Gladiolas with their delicate petals capture and reflect the humid heat in their intense, saturated fiery reds, fuscias, corals, and peaches.
About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, musician, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild and is a past president of the Chatham Arts Council. She recently completed two terms as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
