Misty Woodland metal print by Gina Harrison. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. MISTY WOODLAND. In this abstract forest scene, stylized tree trunks take center stage in varying shades of gray, black, white, and brown, simulating the textures and colors of bark with light filtering through a woodland. A burst of vivid yellow and green foliage brings life to the otherwise still and serene tableau. Impressionistic touches with abstract qualities evoke the essence of a quiet forest.
About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, musician, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild and is a past president of the Chatham Arts Council. She recently completed two terms as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
