THE SWEETHEART TREE. 2020. Fanciful illustration of candy-colored Spring branches. Title is from an early 60s waltz by Mancini & Mercer, with which it shares absolutely nothing except a sort of jaunty early 60s/late mid-century style.

About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, musician, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild and is a past president of the Chatham Arts Council. She recently completed two terms as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
