Artist's Description

TOCCATA. 2018. Vivid abstract named for the musical form noted for fast-moving virtuosic sections that may include fugal or imitative passages. While works of Bach are likely the best known, but this color palette is perhaps more reminiscent of Ravel's (Le Tombeau de Couperin), or Debussy's (Pour le Piano) or Widor's (Symphony for Organ No. 5), three more modern favorites.
