WATERWAY NO. 2. Night falls along the wetlands out to the Intracoastal Waterway. Moment by moment, sunny blues transform to navy, indigos, ultramarines, violets, aubergines, and blacks. The last light catches a bright stream of still sapphire water disappearing into the distance.
About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, musician, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild and is a past president of the Chatham Arts Council. She recently completed two terms as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
