WINTER BEGINS. An early morning walk, the Winter Solstice. Pine needles brushed with frost shimmer like jewels in the glare of an early morning sunrise. The last of autumn leaves and a bit of lichen wear seasonal colors of red and green.
About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, musician, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild and is a past president of the Chatham Arts Council. She recently completed two terms as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
