EN LOS JARDINES DE ESPANA. 2018. A little over a century ago, in 1916, Spanish composer Manuel de Falla completed Noches en los jardines de España, a three-movement impressionistic work depicting Spanish gardens. The first movement, En el Generalife, references the sublime gardens of the Alhambra in Grenada, a portion of which is pictured here …The Cypress Court.

About Gina Harrison
Gina Harrison is a NC artist, graphic designer, and arts ed advocate. She received her BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. She served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild from 2021 through 2022. She is past president of the Chatham Arts Council and currently serves as a board member of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts.
